Privacy Policy

We collect information you give us directly: your name, email address, city, and country when you create an account. We also collect app activity such as saved spots, venue views, followed matches, group joins, ratings, reports, and check-ins.

When you use GameDay Maps on a mobile device, we may collect your approximate location to show nearby spots near you or help with directions. We never collect your location in the background without your permission.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with services needed to run the app, including Supabase for database and authentication, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, and PostHog for product analytics. These providers process data so GameDay Maps can operate.

We use first-party product analytics and PostHog to understand which match, map, venue, save, search, share, and onboarding surfaces are useful. We do not send your email, full name, private messages, payment details, or precise coordinates as analytics properties. On the web, you can decline analytics in the cookie banner. In the app, you can control email and push notifications from Settings. Read the Cookie Policy for more detail.

You can export your data or delete your account from Settings. Account deletion removes your personal data within 30 days unless we need to keep limited records for security, fraud prevention, billing, or legal compliance. You can also request a data export by emailing privacy@gamedaymaps.app.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of their data by using account export/delete tools or by emailing privacy@gamedaymaps.app.
